No Parish Council Elections in 2019
Mendip District Council have today announced that the number of Residents standing for election to the Parish Council on May the 2nd is six.
The Parish Council has seven seat available on it, so no election will take place on the 2nd of May and all six residents will be 'Returned Unopposed'.
In law this still counts as been elected, as they stood for election, but no one apposed them.
