Following on from last moths report about this ditch, it has now been confirmed by the Senior Asset Maintenance Officer at Mendip District Council that the ditch is indeed in the ownership of the District Council. Further work is going to be schooled for the Summer as the District Council are going to dig it out. The ditch plays an important part in the drainage of the Allotments that are currently waterlogged.
